Free meals, discounts and events for Veterans Day 2021

Veterans Day is a day to remember and thank soldiers for serving in the armed forces. As a military veteran, it always humiliates me to see the thanks that so many people say on Veterans Day. Although none of us have earned recognition, it is nice (and humiliating) to be grateful for your service.

Many restaurants and retailers also offer veterans special discounts or even free meals on Veterans Day. This is very generous on their part and certainly something they don’t need to do. If you are a military veteran, I encourage you to attend one or more of these events. You Veterans Day events they are a great way to meet other veterans and show restaurants and retailers that you appreciate their generosity.

We recommend that you share this resource with other veterans you may know. You can also view the list military discounts, more Free meals on Veterans Day, in Retail discounts on Veterans Day on our other side The Military Wallet.

Depending on which day of the week Veterans Day falls, some restaurants may offer a free meal on a day other than Veterans Day. for example Golden Corral almost always offers a free meal on Monday. This is the same day this year as Veterans Day. But in most years it falls on another day of the week.
