BaldwinThe 63-year-old spoke to photographers in Vermont, where he said he works with police and talks to them every day. Baldwin claimed he could not speak of an active investigation.

Baldwin admitted fatal shooting on the set is “one in a trillion events”.
“Occasional accidents happen at movie venues from time to time, but nothing like that,” he said. “It’s one in a trillion episodes. It’s one in a trillion events.”
Baldwin said he was “very interested” in restricting the use of firearms on filming after the fatal incident.
“But remember how many bullets have been fired in movies and TV shows in the last 75 years. This is America,” Baldwin said. “How many bullets were there before in movies and on TVs? How many, billions in the last 75 years? And almost all without incident. So what needs to happen now is that we need to be aware that when it goes wrong and that’s this horrible, catastrophic thing, some new action needs to be taken.Rubber rifles, plastic rifles, no living – no real weapons on set. It’s not up to me.It’s imperative that you understand that I’m not an expert in this field, so whatever others decide that the best way to protect the safety of people in film venues is for it and I will work with it in any way I can. “
