A man dressed as a Joker injures 17 on a train in Tokyo
TOKYO (Reuters) – A 24-year-old man dressed in a Batman Joker costume attacked passengers on the Tokyo railway line on Sunday night, injuring 17 people as many entertainers headed downtown for Halloween gatherings, media reported. One video uploaded to Twitter showed a constant stream of people fleeing in front of a wagon, where a fire broke out a few seconds later. Another video on Twitter showed a man with glasses dressed in a purple suit and a bright green shirt like the one worn by the Joker sitting in an empty train and puffing on a cigarette, legs crossed and looking calm.
