The former girlfriend of Prince Harry has revealed that she feels ‘happy’ that their relationship has been ‘short-lived’ as she has not been able to cope with being constantly in the spotlight.

Former model and actress Florence St George, born Brudenell-Bruce, 35, who grew up in Fulham in the southwest London, dated z Duke of Sussex, 36 years, two months in 2011.

“It left me in complete fear of the camera and the anxiety I think had crept in before the postpartum depression,” she said.

Florence also spoke earlier about her diagnosis of PND, which came after the birth of her daughter Iris, who is now fifth.

She said she faced a problem with how different her maternal life was from her life.

She added that caring for the child made it difficult for her to do the usual things that helped her balance her anxiety, including yoga and running.

The former model revealed that her family encouraged her to visit doctors after experiencing several mood swings.

She was prescribed Prozac, which she said was of great help, and she began experimenting with pottery to calm herself down.

She said pottery helped her feel at home again, and said working with clay seemed like therapy to her.

She revealed that when she got pregnant with her son Jimmy, she decided to stay on Prozac even though she was struggling with guilt.

The mother of two said she did not suffer from PND at the birth of her son Jimmy and that antidepressants helped her cope when he suffered lung bleeding as a baby and was in a coma for two weeks.

She attributed the credit to focusing on pottery because it helped her gently disengage from Prozac in two years.

Florence appeared on The Great Pottery Throw Down and placed in the middle of the competition last year.

She now regularly hunts her own clay and is currently involved in making cups and uploading tutorials to Instagram to help other amateur enthusiasts.

Well educated and from a close-knit family, Florence is the youngest of four children of an old-fashioned wine merchant Andrew and his French wife Sophie.
