Several police charges have also been filed against the comedian, and a BJP minister has banned Dasu from performing in the state of Madhya Pradesh.

Speaking about this ban, Das said he would “cross these bridges when we get to them – humbly”.

Asked if he expected such a response when writing the monologue, Das replied, “A comedian gives satire and if it’s good for the country and bad for the country, it ends up for the good of the country … I think that’s something in which they should unite. I can’t expect what happens when I release a piece of content … These are jokes. It’s not in my hands. ”

The comedian also hinted that this experience will not affect the jokes he writes in the future.

“I have been making my country smile for 10 years. I have dedicated my life to writing about my country, ”Das said. “We’re here at Emmys because I wrote a love letter to my homeland. As long as I am able to do my own comedy, I want to continue writing love letters to my country. “
