The Rangnick Foundation deleted an Instagram post confirming his “dream” move by Man Utd

The German is expected to return to the lead at United, having spent less than a year in a sporting and developmental role at Russian Lokomotiv Moscow.

Meanwhile Ralf Rangnick moves to Manchester United it looks like an example of when and not if the manager’s foundation seems to have skipped.

While United fans are waiting for the club’s announcement of a new president, Rangnick’s own foundation seems to have skipped before realizing its mistake.

‘Ralf Rangnick Stiftung’, a children’s foundation based in Leipzig, is published on Instagram announced an appointment and shared their congratulations on the Instagram story.

Both posts were removed within one hour after the error was discovered.

As he translated The sun, the post read: ‘Dear friends, promoters and fans of the Ralf Rangnick Foundation, today we have something to announce:

Congratulations and we are very happy for our founder Ralph Rangnick, who signed a contract until the end of the season in the summer of 2022 as an ‘Interimtrainer’ [interim] with an English club,

‘And so he made his long-awaited dream come true.’

He will work as a consultant for a prestigious club for two years. Ralph remains the most important ambassador of his foundation, “he continued in his now-deleted statement.

‘Which will now, hopefully, become even more popular in England as well and can do a lot of good for as many children as possible.

“At this point, we truly thank you for your countless congratulations to Ralph, which have reached us through all possible channels and we are passing them on to him together.”

Rangnick was one of many candidates for the interim role, along with Rudi Garcia, Ernesto Valverde and Lucien Favre.

Reports claim the 63-year-old turned down one offer from United before finally convincing him to take over, with an official announcement expected to be imminent.

Many members of Solskjaer’s coaching staff are expected to remain at the club – including Michael Carrick, who is expected to remain United’s manager. Premier League a trip to the league leaders Chelsea this weekend.
