CChildren in England aged 12 to 15 now have access to an NHS Covid Pass for travel if they have had both doses of Covid-19.

This will allow children who have received both stings to travel to countries such as Canada and Spain, which now require passengers of this age to be fully vaccinated to enter, avoid isolation or access venues.

Proof of vaccination will initially be provided through a letter service, including the internationally recognized 2D barcode, and a digital solution through NHS.uk will be introduced early next year, according to the government.

Health Minister Sajid Javid said: “As of today, I can confirm that the NHS COVID Pass is being introduced for international travel for 12- to 15-year-olds, allowing even more people to prove their travel vaccine status where needed . “
