Emmerdale fans on Friday night believed the villager would find the evidence they need to prove Meena Jutla is the killer.
Meena kept the trophies of all her victimsincluding Leanna Cavanagh, Ben Tucker and Andrea Tate.
She kept them all in a first aid kit and kept them hidden for months until she had to bury them somewhere where no one would find them.
He’s been there ever since and reappeared from the ground in Friday night’s episode.
Liam, in turmoil over the fact that Meena had murdered his daughter, began demolishing the plot he had erected in her memory.
Out of grief, he began to scatter the area and angrily dig around – only to accidentally dig up a first aid kit containing items belonging to Meena’s victims.
Of course, he did not notice this and only partially protruded from the ground.
But viewers immediately noticed him and began to predict that they would finally find him, along with the property Meena had put there.
They hoped this would be the proof needed to show that Meena was the killer, and to link her to all deaths.
While villagers know Meena committed the crimes, police have no actual evidence that she is the killer.
The only person who has witnessed confession is Manpreet, however, she remains in a coma and may not survive her injuries on the train.
Manpreet told Vinny about the murders, with Meena pretty much admitting to killing Ben, but she didn’t really admit it to him, she hinted more at it, so this is not evidence, according to detectives.
There’s a lot of rest on this token box, especially since it contains Leanna’s ring, which she wore on the day of her death, and also the bracelet that Andrea wore when she was attacked by Meena.
Noah had actually already seen this box and its contents, but he was unaware of its significance and has since found out that the ring he stole was Leannin.
However, fans are confident that another turnaround will follow many have struggled with the “pulling” of the Meena complication for months.
Some viewers accepted Twitter anticipate that it could take weeks, if not more, until someone actually finds a box of items.
One fan said during the episode, “I bet this box will stay there for years to come.”
Another agreed: “#Emmerdale Meena’s box of trophies will not be discovered soon. I read that a villager had come to help Liam fix the plot, and Sam was covering the box with earth. So he can stay there until Meena’s return. ”
The third added, “I guarantee Liam won’t find Meena’s box because they’ll pull the fuck out of it, too.”
Meena is currently on the run after trying to kill Manpreet and Vinny, while she managed to escape from the truck.
Emmerdale airs on Sundays at 7pm on ITV, with an additional episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
