Emmerdale’s Vinny Dingle was appalled as his version of events did not prove that Meena Jutla was the killer and that Liv Flaherty was innocent.

Emmerdale aired frustrating scenes Friday night as police suggested they had no concrete evidence that Meena Jutla was the killer.
Despite admitting her crimes, the only person who heard her utter the words she killed and who her victims were was her sister Manpreet Sharma.
Manpreet remained in a coma, clinging to life after a devastating disaster.
So when Vinny spoke to the detective and believed he could finally get the girl Liv out of jail, knowing Meena was guilty of her crime, he was broken when he found out it wasn’t that easy.
Liv is in jail for the murder of Ben Tucker, being placed at the crime scene and is known to have rowed with Ben on the night of his death.
After the alcoholic could not remember his actions that night, the police accused her of murder – while fans know that Meena was the one who killed Ben.
Ben was behind her after she tried to drown Victoria Sugden, while it was also revealed to the villagers that she killed Andrea Tate and Leanna Cavanagh.
Vinny recently chased her, which led to his abduction by Meena, who also held her sister Manpreet hostage for the same reason.
Manpreet was later accidentally run over by Charles Anderson as he tried to find a missing character.
In the outage, Vinny desperately wanted to talk to the police about everything he knew and about all the murders Meena had committed.
His main priority was to prove that she killed Ben to help release Liv, but he was soon released.
After telling the detective everything he knew and how Meena was the killer, the detective asked for word for word a description of what she told him.
But Vinny was soon forced to admit that he never said the words ‘I killed Ben’ or anyone else as Manpreet told him the truth.
He also only knew that Meena had killed Ben because she alluded to it while chatting with him, and although it was obvious again, she didn’t say it in words.
Manpreet is the only person who has witnessed the actual confession of Meena’s victims and how she killed them, but may not survive her injuries.
The detective told Vinny that without Manpreet’s version of events, they still have no real evidence of Meena’s crimes, particularly Ben’s murder, which means Liv would remain in jail.
Vinny told his mom Mandy that he needs to find any evidence he can, as Meena could currently “lie to get out of this” and perhaps avoid crime.
Emmerdale airs on Sundays at 7pm on ITV, with an additional episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
