BUrns night, an extravagant affair that took place in late January to commemorate the life of Scottish national poet Robert Burns, traditionally involves the burger sound of bagpipes, creamy neep and tatties, and the beating of a fiery whiskey sauce.

The undisputed highlight of the evening is the performance of Burns’ song To a Haggis.
