‘What is it?’ An unidentified ‘huge’ object that looked ‘like a missile’ is filmed flying ‘naturally upwards’ over London
- An unidentified object was spotted vertically above Tooting in London today
- Graphic designer Gabriella, 26, spotted an unusual object through the window
- The strange shape flew straight up, leaving a trail of smoke behind
At least two witnesses reported seeing an unknown plane over the southwest London today earlier.
The video, taken around 4:27 p.m., appears to show a gray-colored object flying directly up over Tooting.
A long trail appears behind an object in the sky that is often occupied by planes approaching Heathrow Airport
People on the ground could see the optical illusion created by the flying plane, but one witness claims that the object flew ‘straight up’ /
The bizarre scene was made by 26-year-old freelance graphic designer Gabriella, who demanded that her full name not be released.
She claims she was working on a project in her apartment when she looked out the window and saw an unusual scene.
In the video, Gabriello can be heard saying, ‘What the hell is this?’
Speaking about how she caught her attention, Gabriella told MailOnline: “It was a combination of both, yellow-orange pastel – and then this really weird massive object, southwest of Tooting.
“There was a long string of smoke there, like a strange cloud going up, and then I saw a huge dark gray thing … It was flying straight up, something I hadn’t seen before. I mean, I’ve never seen planes go so straight up. If you see planes, you usually see them going over, not straight up.
Behind an unknown object, a long stream of what appears to be smoke can be seen during the journey.
‘The other thing is big size. I’ve seen about seven or eight planes in the sky at the same time, you often get planes in the sky here, Heathrow and Gatwick are close.
‘Some of the planes were obviously closer to my window … but the planes were also obviously smaller. That means the strange object in the sky must have been huge. Huge. It was so far away and the planes were small compared to the small ones. ‘
“I reckon it all took about two minutes, I filmed for about 20 seconds, took photos, and then it disappeared about a minute and a half later, so it had to move fast.
As far as I know, no one else has seen this … but I have a video and a photo as proof: I didn’t imagine it. I want to know what it was. It was quite embarrassing. ‘
