The derby in north London was postponed after the Premier League accepted Arsenal’s request to cancel the match, despite the fact that only one case of Covid was known.
Tottenham have reportedly expressed disappointment over the late dismissal, which was approved after Mikel Arteta was left with only 12 fit outfielders.
This is the second postponed match for Arsenal, after their first semi-final match of the Carabao Cup against Liverpool has been postponed for a week.
There was only one well-known case of Covid on the team, but Cedric Soares, Bukayo Sak, Calum Chambers and Kieran Tierney were reportedly injured. Granite Xhaka has been suspended.
