Huge seven-year-old football player defeats opponent just like his NRL idol Siosifa Talakai

He is barely seven years old, but new NRL The Dolphins franchise may already have beauty on its hands with Lenyx Fa’amoe Brown.

Weighing 54 kilograms and being four meters tall, the young footballer, crazy about the rugby league, got all the tools for a successful career.

His proud father Shane recently posted a video of a tall youngster breaking through an opponent’s team to score two attempts for the Redcliffe Dolphins under-8 team.

Cronulla sharks are a family team and young Lenyx was inspired by the destruction of Siosif Talakai’s ball – he even has the same hairstyle as his idol.

While the prop seems like an obvious position for Lenyx, he has insisted on wearing the No. 4 jersey played by his idol sport, and is developing his game at the center of the Sharks.

“This is his third year of playing, he loves his football,” his father Shane Brown said.

‘He adores Talakai of the Sharks, the same hairstyle, he insisted on wearing jersey no. 4 like him, he watches him play every time – that’s his idol. ‘

While there is no doubt that young Lenyx has size on his side, he is far from a pony with one trick.

Young Lenyx shows a lot of skill in working with his feet and defense, while opponents get great lessons on how to conduct a fight with textbook feet to knock him down.

“The whole team loves it, all the other kids on the playground love it,” Shane said.

‘It teaches them how to tackle the low. If they try to go high, he defends himself with a bumper. Children who fall low tackle it. ‘

Every day after school, Lenyx practices his league moves, including tackling exercises with his 16-year-old brother Tyler.

At just seven years old, Lenyx is already 54 kg and almost four meters tall. He trains his legs every day after school and likes to play against his 16-year-old brother

While the Brown family lives in Kallangur on the north side of Brisbane – in the Moreton region the dolphins will represent – they are a proud family supporting New South Wales and the Sharks a family club.

Shane said the Dolphins ’entry into the NRL with head coach Wayne Bennett at the helm is a big deal for their family, especially young Lenyx, who will want to pursue the NRL path.

‘[The Dolphins NRL team] it’s fantastic, it’s great for the kids, great for the community and great for the club, ”Shane said.

“All the kids are talking about it … we believe Wayne Bennett will make a difference.”

Lenyx (third from left) is a popular actor at Redcliffe. Admission of Dolphins to the NRL will give him, his teammates and players from surrounding clubs huge opportunities.

Jason Goulding is a junior route coordinator at Redcliffe Dolphins and said the new NRL franchise will pave the way for kids like Lenyx across Brisbane and give them an extra route to the top without having to leave the wider Brisbane region.

‘They [the juniors] They don’t have to become Dolphins to move to the NRL, they could play for Brighton, Pine Rivers, anywhere in Brisbane – they still have that opportunity, ”he said.

“With small players like Lenyx, it’s a great opportunity for those who play against him to learn to defend and it also stands out.

“For all the affiliated clubs around Brisbane, this is also an additional route to the NRL.

“No matter how much we develop players in the company, we have certainly given a hand to the development of these other clubs and some clubs around us who are facing us are doing an outstanding job.”
