Furious Prince Harry threw away dinner with King Charles III and William at Balmoral after the new monarch banned Meghan from joining them on the day the queen died, they report.

The Duke of Sussex is said to have wanted his wife to join the royal family when they met at the Scottish estate following Her Majesty’s death on September 8.

However, Charles reportedly called his youngest son and told him it was ‘not appropriate’ for him to be there.

He is reported to have missed his flight to Scotland in the ensuing row with his family, during which he fought to allow the Duchess to accompany him.

In his absence, his brother and uncles, Andrew and Edward, all boarded an RAF plane for Scotland. They would arrive at Balmoral about half an hour after the Queen’s death.

Harry was left to make his own way there and landed in Aberdeen at 6.35pm, five minutes after the public was informed of Her Majesty’s death.

The sun reports that the Prince was so angry at the delay and the fact that his wife was not allowed to come that he refused to dine at Birkhall with his father, brother and Queen Consort Camilla.

Instead, he dined with Andrew, Edward and Sophie, Countess of Wessex, at Balmoral Castle.

Prince Harry allegedly snubbed his father and brother at a dinner at Balmoral after the new king banned his wife from attending

The Sun quotes a source as saying: ‘Harry was so busy getting Meghan to Balmoral and rowing with the family that he missed his flight.

“Charles has an open invitation for Harry to dine with him whenever he is in the country.

“But Harry was so furious that he refused to eat with his father and brother.

“It was a huge undertaking. And he left Balmoral at the first opportunity to catch the first commercial flight back to London.”

The next morning, he was the first member of the royal family to leave as he boarded an early British Airways flight from Aberdeen, where he was pictured consoling an airport worker after she offered her condolences on the death of his grandmother.

More to come…
