English star Jack Grealish had sex with a woman at a party held at the luxury home of Man City team-mate Benjamin Mendy, where she said she was later raped by another man, a court heard today.
Grealish is said to have had sexual relations with one woman, aged 23, who was also raped by Mendy’s co-accused Louis Saha Matturie.
Mendy, 28, and Matturie, 41, deny multiple rapes and sexual crimes against a number of young women. Both deny any wrongdoing.
Grealish was named during a police interview given by the woman and played to the jury.
The woman, who was 17 at the time, claims Mendy raped her twice on the same night at a party at his house in Prestbury, Cheshire, last August.
She said the woman Matturie allegedly raped told her she also had sex with Grealish.
The teenager added that Mendy raped her twice at his home during a meeting where Mendy’s friends and Grealish’s friends from Birmingham were also present.
She told police Matturie invited her to the China White nightclub in Manchester in the early hours of August 23 last year.
She arrived around 3.30am and was outside the club shortly before Mendy and Matturie left.
She said: ‘They were with Jack Grealish. There were a few girls around him, but they were taking pictures and filming with his friends.
The club didn’t like that. They wanted the pictures deleted.
“We talked a little bit. It took a while for them to come out.”
The teenager got a taxi with three other girls and one of Matturie’s friends and passed out drinks on the way to Mendy’s house, where the girls’ mobile phones were taken before they got inside, the court was told.
She said: ‘There were already two little girls on the sofa. They sat next to Jack. He was already on the couch.”
Matturie then led the 23-year-old woman away ‘hand in hand’ to get more alcohol after the witness told police ‘Jack asked for vodka’.
Jack Grealish was mentioned in evidence and there is no suggestion of any wrongdoing
Manchester City footballer Benjamin Mendy is today at Chester Court, where he is accused of multiple rapes and sexual assaults.
Louis Saha Matturie, co-accused of Manchester City footballer Benjamin Mendy, at Chester Crown Court where he is accused of multiple rapes and sexual assaults.
On Tuesday, the teenager told police she woke up to find Mendy’s friend and ‘fixer’ Matturie raping her.
The young woman, who was 17 at the time, said she went to Matturie’s flat near Manchester city center with a friend in the early hours of April 8 last year.
Matturie, 41, and another man, identified only as “Ghost” or “G”, were also there and all four spent the time playing cards, Chester Crown Court heard.
She then said she got tired and Matturie told her she could use the spare bedroom to sleep.
She was later woken up by fondling before being raped, she said.
The young woman said she thought the person ‘spooning’ her from behind was a man known as Ghost, but the person had a hood over his face and he didn’t say anything to her.
It wasn’t until the alleged attack ended and he stood up that she realized it was Matturie, she said.
“I started crying,” she told police in a video interview played to jurors.
‘I just sat there for a second, ‘What the hell!’ I ran out crying.

I was not properly awake when this was happening. There was a moment when I woke up properly and he got off me.
“It doesn’t sound like a big deal, but it was terrible at the time.”
But Lisa Wilding KC, defending Matturie, questioned the cause’s version of events.
The court was told in March last year, a month before Matturie allegedly raped the 17-year-old, her friend, aged 19, said she woke up to be raped by the accused.
During cross-examination, Lisa Wilding KC, defending Matturie, asked the teenager: “She said Saha was a rapist. When she told you that, did you go back to the apartment?’
‘Yes,’ she replied.
Ms Wilding indicated that she was fully aware of who she was having sex with and that it was consensual.
She said police later found an email from a company called Compensation Experts on the teenager’s phone.
Mrs. Wilding continued, “Was it what you say happened to Saha?”
‘No,’ she replied.
Mrs Wilding said: ‘You deliberately lied about what happened that night and used the lies to support your friend in her claim against Saha.’
‘No,’ replied the teenager.
Prosecutors allege that Mendy is a “predator” who “turned chasing women for sex into a game”, while Matturie, his friend and “fixer”, was tasked with finding young women for sex.
Mendy denies seven counts of rape, one count of attempted rape and one count of sexual assault against six young women.
Matturie, of Eccles, Salford, denies six counts of rape and three counts of sexual assault in relation to seven young women.
Both men say that intercourse with women or girls was voluntary.
The trial continues.
