EasyJet flights between London Gatwick and Southern France were canceled this morning after a cargo plane overran the runway and ended up nose down in a lake.
The airport in Montpellier on the Mediterranean coast is closed until further notice.
Rescuers pulled three people from the Boeing 737. They were not injured in the accident, which happened before dawn today.

The West Atlantic flight traveled from Paris Charles de Gaulle to Montpellier in the early hours of today, arriving just before 3am.
But the trip was anything but smooth, as the plane eventually landed nose-down in water behind the runway.
Officials confirmed that four members of the French air investigation team were at the site.
EasyJet has confirmed that its morning flights between London Gatwick and the popular seaside city have been cancelled.
