A radio DJ died on-air when the music cut out in the middle of the popular breakfast show.
Tim Gough was on air on Ipswich-based radio station GenX when the broadcast suddenly stopped mid-song.
Mr Gough, 55, was presenting his breakfast show for GenX Radio Suffolk from his home, 55 miles away, when the music stopped without warning an hour before his usual morning slot at the station, which opened earlier this year.
The music resumed a few minutes later but Mr Gough could not be heard from and the station later confirmed he had died.
The station posted on its social media accounts: “It is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to inform you that our dear friend and breakfast presenter Tim Gough passed away this morning while presenting his programme. Our love to his family, son, sister, brother and mother. Tim was doing what he loved. He was 55 years old.”
