Singing real estate agent raises eyebrows with Stranger Things-inspired video

Ms Cossey and Tony Bailey, her business partner, opened Just Knock Estate Agents in 2020 when the professional singer of 24 years’ experience came up with the idea of ​​making videos to help market their properties.

Mrs Cossey, 43, of Leighton Buzzard, Beds, said she had been making the videos for several years and the “first one went quite viral locally” and helped promote the property.

She added: “At the end of the day it’s just a different marketing tool. I’m not telling people it’s going to help sell their house, it’s just obviously something very, very different.

“It probably wouldn’t come as much of a surprise if I said that I’m actually a professional singer by trade. I have been singing for 24 years and have toured all over the world.

“We started our own business and I just had this really stupid idea to start singing about real estate.

‘I find the reaction very amusing’

“I’m a huge fan of Stranger Things because my kids are teenagers so we all watch it together and at my age I also remember The NeverEnding Story so it came hand in hand,” she said.

“This particular house has five reception rooms and five double rooms, it’s a monster, it’s huge and I just went ‘infinite property, ah, there we are’ and just started working on it.

“I find the reaction very amusing. The last time I had it, you get agents who are bothering you, I don’t care, it’s a different idea, something unique and it helps promote the property.”
