The royal coronation procession route will be only a fraction of Queen Elizabeth’s route

The air convoy will see aircraft that have been supporting Ukraine, patrolling NATO airspace, supporting disaster relief, deterring drug trafficking and fighting terrorism in the Middle East and Africa.

Included will be 16 helicopters, the RAF’s historic Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Spitfire, a brand new RAF P-8A Poseidon maritime patrol aircraft, state-of-the-art F-35B Lightning II jets from the combined RAF and RN with crew and a transport aircraft from the RAF Air Force mobility.

How can you watch the coronation in person?

Well-wishers can flock to central London to witness the processions.

Around 3,800 seats in the purpose-built grandstand outside Buckingham Palace will be offered to veterans, health and social care workers and representatives of charities associated with the Royal Family.

In addition, 354 uniformed cadet units will be offered a chance to view the procession at Admiralty Arch.
