Princess Kate looked amazing in a relaxed ensemble as she enjoyed a day of volunteering for The Big Help Out with other Welshmen.

Kate looked ready to get down to the action in her baby blue ‘Liberty’ Ruffled Silk Shirt by Really Wild Clothing, £129, which she teamed with a practical yet stylish pair of G-Shape Cargo Skinny Jeans – Old man. Raw.

She previously wore the same style of jeans on a trip to Belize in 2022 and often opts for casual pants for more low-key royal engagements.

She completed her outfit with a classic pair of brown Chelsea 550 boots from Blundstone and gold ‘Mini Cupid’ arrow earrings from Danielle Draper – a firm favorite of the princess.

The mum-of-three kept her long brown locks down naturally as she did her best to help out with tasks.

While Kate is known for her stunning looks when she attends lavish events, today is just one of the best examples of how the princess still looks gorgeous when dressed casually.

The The 40-year-old Prince and the 41-year-old Princess of Wales delighted the volunteers this morning as they arrived at the local scout headquarters in Slough with their three children, nine-year-old Prince George, eight-year-old Princess Charlotte and five-year-old Prince Louis.

Based on Coronation Concertt last night the family spent hours renovating some scout cabins for local members.

The Wales family volunteered at the 3rd Upton Scouts Hut in Slough, Berkshire as part of a nationwide volunteering day to celebrate the coronation of King Charles and Queen Camilla.

Their decision to bring their young family was kept a secret until their arrival, in order to cause as little disturbance as possible to the young people, who are slowly getting used to public engagement.

The family also insisted that the children ‘get stuck in properly’ and offer their hand – which they certainly did,

The Prince and Princess and their children joined volunteers in renovating the Scout Lodge, with work including resetting the path, digging a new watering hole, sanding and painting the front door, adding planters to the front of the building and adding a mural to create a lasting legacy of Big Help’s work Out.

The children immediately set to work, with Charlotte and Louis helping to paint the planter and George joining their father in drilling.

The two youngest children knelt down and grasped brushes that dripped with white mason’s paint, evidently from their hair and bare feet.

The children worked away without complaint as the Princess of Wales hovered over them and let them do their worst. ‘Well done Louis!’ She said.

When Kate tried to step in and advise Charlotte on what to do, her daughter firmly but politely said: ‘I don’t like that.’

Charlotte said to her brother: ‘You have color in your hair! Louis, look at me! Look at me! ‘

“Yeah, Louis, look at Charlotte,” said the adult volunteer.

Louis looked extremely unfazed.

“You have to wipe it off,” Charlotte reminded him gently.

“If you two help, everything goes much faster,” the lady who helped them assured the children.

‘Careful!’ Charlotte told Louis again when he got too excited with his brush.

Meanwhile, William and George were wielding a drill on a wooden planter.

‘It’s holding up for now,’ joked the crown prince.

Dressed in chinos, trainers and a puffy coat, George was the picture of composure as he carefully inserted the screw into the hole and drilled into it.

Kate went to her eldest son and asked him, ‘Have you ever used a drill?’ It’s quite satisfying. How do you get along with George?’

George showed his mother what he was doing.

The family then left, Kate holding Louis’ hand to try her hand at another task.

Charlotte rubbed her legs to remove the paint.

The third Upton Scout Lodge was built in 1982 and is used by various community groups in the area, including a local mosque, a senior citizen contact group for members of the Asian community and the Scout Group itself.

The building is also used by ‘Slough All Nations’, a group with a heritage that stretches across St. Kitts & Nevis and which provides recreational and leisure activities to improve health and well-being and promote community cohesion. The Princess of Wales has been joint president of the Scouts since 2020.

Big Help Out has been created by some of Britain’s best-known charities, from the Boy Scouts to the Royal Voluntary Service, Rotary to the National Trust.

In tribute to Her Majesty’s public service, The Big Help Out will encourage people to try volunteering themselves and join the work being done to support their local areas.

The aim is to use volunteering to bring the community together and create a lasting legacy of volunteering from Coronation Weekend.
