Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary pay tribute to This Morning’s Phillip Schofield
Phillip Schofield was removed from the Prince’s Trust website as an ambassador in his own way This morning scandal.

ITV commissions review of Phillip Schofield’s departure from This Morning
ITV has commissioned an external legal review of Phillip Schofield’s acrimonious departure from This morningsaying, “We feel very disappointed.”
Dame chief executive Carolyn McCall said a lawyer would review the facts after the 61-year-old resigned and was dumped by his talent agency after admitting to an “unwise but not illegal” affair with a younger colleague.
In a letter to Culture Minister Lucy Frazer, she also referred to wider stories about This morningincluding allegations of a “toxic culture” by former leader Dr. Ranj Singh.

ITV confirms it investigated Schofield in 2020
ITV said it had investigated “relationship rumours” between Phillip Schofield and a This morning employed in 2020.
However, the channel said both sides have “repeatedly denied” the claims.
An ITV spokesman said on Saturday that the broadcaster had “received and found no evidence of a relationship other than hearsay and hearsay” when it looked into the matter in 2020.

Phillip Schofield resigns from ITV
A week after Phillip Schofield left his ITV role This morning host, resigned from the show altogether. His first departure came amid rumors of a “feud” between him and his morning co-host Holly Willoughby.
However, in the latest update, Schofield has announced he will be leaving ITV altogether after admitting he had an extra-marital affair with a much younger employee while he was still with ex-wife Stephanie Lowe. They later divorced in 2020 after he came out as gay.
Schofield has since made it very clear that the two incidents are “unrelated”.
