Boris Johnson: I want to be prime minister by 2029

“I cannot reconcile the pain and sacrifice of the vast majority of the British public at the time of imprisonment with the attitude and activities of those working on Downing Street,” he said.

Not only do the two last rebel MPs represent headquarters in Devon, but no one is considered among the usual suspects who could agitate for the removal of Mr Johnson.

Acts of defiance mean that 13 Conservatives have publicly called for his resignation, although it is believed that more of them did so privately.

A no-confidence vote will be launched if Sir Graham receives 54 letters, 15% of the parliamentary party calling for a vote.

On Monday, Ms. Gray revealed that police investigated 12 incidents between 2020 and 2021.

A senior civil servant has not been able to publish her full findings due to the Met investigation, but Mr Johnson is now expected to be present at at least six meetings in the investigation.
